Phenethyl alcohol, or 2-phenylethanol, is the organic compound .It is a colourless liquid that is slightly soluble in water, but miscible with most organic solvents. It occurs widely in nature, being found in a variety of essential oils. It has a pleasant floral odor.
Phenylethanol is a flavoring agent naturally found in fragrant oils such as neroli, rose oil and geranium oil. It is widely used in various food flavors and tobacco flavors because of its soft, pleasant and long-lasting rose scent.
1.Phenethyl alcohol is found in extract of rose, carnation, hyacinth, Aleppo pine, orange blossom, ylang-ylang, geranium, neroli, and champaca. It is also an autoantibiotic produced by the fungus Candida albicans
2.It is therefore a common ingredient in flavors and perfumery, particularly when the odor of rose is desired.
3.It is used as an additive in cigarettes.
4.It is also used as a preservative in soaps due to its stability in basic conditions. It is of interest due to its antimicrobial properties.

Protamine sulphate are small, arginine-rich, nuclear proteins that replace histones late in the haploid phase of
spermatogenesis and are believed essential for sperm head condensation and DNA stabilization.
Protamine sulphate may allow for denser packaging of DNA in spermatozoon than histones, but Protamine sulphate must be decompressed before the genetic data can be used for protein synthesis.
However, in humans and maybe other primates, 10-15% of the sperm's genome is packaged by histones thought to bind genes that are essential for early embryonic development
