Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate/AcHA
Acetylated sodium hyaluronate (AChA) is a derivative of sodium hyaluronate (HA). It is prepared by acetylation of sodium hyaluronate (HA). It has both hydrophilic and lipophilic properties. Acetylated sodium hyaluronate has the advantages of high skin affinity, high efficacy, lasting moisturizing, softening the cuticle, strengthening skin elasticity, improving skin elasticity, improving skin roughness, and so on. It is refreshing and sticky, and can be widely applied to cosmetics such as lotion, facial mask, essence, etc.

- Function
High skin affinity
AcHA's hydrophilic and fat-friendly nature gives it a special affinity with the skin's cuticles
The high skin affinity of AcHA makes it more evenly and closely adsorbed on the surface of the skin, even after rinsing with water.
HA and AcHA act on the surface of the skin, as following:
Strong moisture retention
AcHA can firmly adhere to the surface of the skin, reduce the loss of water on the surface of the skin, and increase the content of moisture of skin. It also can quickly penetrate into the stratum corneum, combine with the water in the stratum corneum, and hydrate to soften the stratum corneum. AcHA internal and external synergistic effect, play an efficient and lasting moisturizing effect, increase skin water content, improve skin rough, dry state, make skin full and moist.
▶ Bound water in stratum corneum (mg/100mg of dry tissue)
The water binding capacity of AcHA in stratum corneum is about 2 times that of HA, indicating that the moisture retention capacity of AcHA is much higher than that of ordinary HA.
▶ Skin surface water retention capacity
Compared with the use of HA aqueous solution, the use of AcHA aqueous solution can make the skin surface water retention capacity higher and longer lasting. Shows that AcHA has good skin water retention ability.
Stratum corneum-softening
AcHA has a special affinity to the stratum corneum, which can stay on the surface of the stratum corneum and produce a special and lasting softening effect of the stratum corneum, thus increasing the elasticity of the skin.
Cosmetic uses:Hyaluronic acid is a common ingredient in skin-care products. Hyaluronic acid is used as a dermal filler in cosmetic surgery. It is
typically injected using either a classic sharp hypodermic needle or a micro-cannula. Complications include the severing of nerves
and vessels, pain and bruising. In some cases hyaluronic acid fillers result in a granulomatous foreign body reaction.
